Improving the safety of the neighborhood through education and programming:
- 1/12/10: Introduction of new 25th Ward Liaison, Marjorie Dove Kent
- 1/12/10: Introduction of new St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Public Affairs Officer, Mark O’Brien
- 9/8/09: Presentation on free tenant screening options for landlords by Grand Oak Hill Community Corporation
- 7/28/09: First DWNA Block Captain Training Session hosted at Dutchtown South Community Corporation presented by Neighborhood Stabilization Officer Barb Potts
- 7/14/09: Presentation on South Towne Apartment development plans by North Tower Group
- 6/9/09: List of Blocks in neighborhood created with volunteers for Block Captains added and made available online
- 5/12/09: St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Public Affairs Officer, Thomas Bottini, presents on crime statistics in our neighborhood
- 4/14/09: St. Louis City Assessor, Ed Bushmeyer, present on property tax adjustments
- 3/10/09: 25th Ward Neighborhood Stabilization Officer Dianne Raines and St. Louis City Attorneys present on Nuisance Properties
- 2/10/09: St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Public Affairs Officer, Thomas Bottini, presents on crime statistics in our neighborhood
- 2/10/09: Mayor Francis Slay attends neighborhood meeting
- 11/11/08: St. Mary’s High School, Father Mitch Doyen presents on plans for new sports park and demolition of apartment buildings

Fostering community involvement and participation:

- 10/13/09: Special Presentation/Feedback Solicitation on Amberg Park Development
- 9/12/09: Amberg Park Clean-Up Days now held 2nd Tuesday of every month (weather permitting)
- 8/11/09: Amberg Park fountain has been repaired. DWNA forwarded list of short-term improvements to Alderman while a park development plan is in the works
- 8/8/09: Amberg Park Clean-Up Days now held 2nd Tuesday of every month (weather permitting)

- 6/9/09: Presentation by DSCC on forgivable loans and other financial assistance programs available in our neighborhood

Engaging local businesses:
- 12/8/09: Flyer/Letter addressed to all businesses in neighborhood sent out
- 6/5/09: Flyer/Letter addressed to all businesses in neighborhood created
- 6/5/09: List of Businesses in our neighborhood updated and merged into a database
- 5/12/09: Ugly Fish donates pizza for neighborhood meeting
- 12/9/08: Senor Pops Puerto Rican Restaurant presents on their new business.
- 10/6/08: List of all businesses in our neighborhood focus area created
Communicating effectively:
- 1/1/10: DutchtownWest.org website renewed
- 12/9/09: St. Louis City Mayor declares “Dutchtown West Neighborhood Association Day” in the City of St. Louis
- 10/13/09: 3 Large Neighborhood Meeting signs created to place on Grand Ave.
- 8/11/09: Yard Signs Updated to reflect new meeting location and large meeting sign placed out which resulted in 25 new neighbors attending meeting
- 7/14/09: Mass postcard mailed out to neighbors without email listed announcing meeting
- 7/12/09: Phone-Tree volunteers call and remind neighbors of meeting
- 6/5/09: Email List Subscription Link added to DWNA website for anyone to join
- 5/12/09: Mass postcard mailed out to neighbors announcing meeting location change
- 4/22/09: First DWNA Internal Directory published
- 2/10/09: Large neighborhood meeting sign purchased for Resurrection School Building
- 2/10/09: Official DWNA Post Office Box purchased
- 1/13/09: Official DWNA letterhead selected
- 12/11/08: Official DWNA website goes online www.DutchtownWest.org
- 12/9/08: Official neighborhood association name and mission approved
- 11/11/08: Power point slides and projector used at meetings to help flow
- 11/11/08: Neighborhood meeting yard signs purchased and distributed to announce meetings

- 9/9/08: Began distributing flyers on neighbors doors announcing meetings
