A Revitalized Neighborhood Association!

A revitalized neighborhood association has officially formed west of Grand!
The Dutchtown West Neighborhood Association (DWNA), formerly the Resurrection Neighborhood Support, has seen tremendous growth and enthusiasm in recent months. After neighbors worked together to advertise and gain support for an official association located in West Dutchtown, attendance went from around 20 neighbors to a current roster of over 130. Neighbors are excited about working together to bring about positive changes within the groups boundaries of Chippewa on the North, S. Grand on the East, Delor to the South, and the Rail Road Tracks on the West. DWNA’s focus thus far has included multiple Amberg Park Clean-Up events at Keokuk and Gustine as well as a Neighborhood Luncheon at a local restaurant, The Original Crusoe’s (3152 Osceola). Future plans for the association include outreach efforts to local businesses, developing a short and long-term neighborhood improvement plan, increasing neighborhood block captains, working to improve Amberg Park, and fostering community involvement and participation.
If you are interested in getting involved in your neighborhood, the Dutchtown West Neighborhood Association meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Resurrection Church School Building Basement (3880 Meramec).
