Interested in expanding your garden’s palette? Want to get rid of plants that have taken over your yard? Or, if you just like talking shop with like-minded neighbors, make sure to sign up for the Dutchtown West Plant Swap.

The swap, hosted by Allison Rabbitt of the 3700 block of Taft Ave., will be in mid to late May. Generous gardeners can bring extra plants, pots or seeds and offer them free to new homes. Iced tea, plastic pots and bags will be provided, but feel free to bring extras.
