The popular “On Stage at Powell” series gives audiences a musician’s eye-view of this fabulous hall, and provides an intimate setting for both informative discussions and incredible music-making.  Bring your curiosity and your questions as you sit on Powell Hall’s stage with the members of the Saint Louis Symphony as they perform with guests from the music community. Bring all your senses to enjoy this unique musical experience. On Stage at Powell is free and begins at 7 PM.

Come and sit on stage with the musicians as they perform “Sevdah St. Louis: Music of Bosnia.” No tickets needed! Come and enjoy Bosnian music!

Want to get rid of plants that have taken over your yard? Or, if you just like talking shop with like-minded neighbors, make sure to sign up for the Dutchtown West Plant Swap.

The swap, hosted by Allison Rabbitt of the 3700 block of Taft Ave., will be in mid to late May. Generous gardeners can bring extra plants, pots or seeds and offer them free to new homes. Iced tea, plastic pots and bags will be provided, but feel free to bring extras.

Please email Allison at calicoon(at) yahoo (dot)com to let her know if you’re interested. She will also be at the next Dutchtown West Neighborhood Association meeting on May 12, 2009 @ 7pm if you have any questions.
