Building inspections in part of the Dutchtown West neighborhood were just recently finished up in the Meramec-Chippewa-Giles triangle. Brian Alcaraz, Building Inspector Supervisor, announced that homeowners will receive letters soon, if work is needed to be done to their property. Todd Waelterman, the St. Louis City Director of Streets, recently announced that the Department of Streets is experimenting with once-a-week trash pickup in the City of St. Louis in an effort to reduce expenses. Yesterday, DWNA neighbors met to drive around our neighborhood and create a list of visible problems in our area to report to the Citizens Service Bureau (CSB), our Neighborhood Stabilization Officer (NSO), as well as our Alderman.
